Eyebrow Waxing
What is eyebrow waxing?

Eyebrow waxing is the removal of unwanted hairs around the brows. It is a common method of hair removal in all genders as it’s a fast and effective, yet cost efficient solution to removing unwanted brow hair.

How does eyebrow waxing work?

Eyebrow waxing is a simple process of using soft wax to grab the unwanted hairs and then using a cotton strip to remove the wax. When using soft wax, we can only go over each area once. Any hairs that are not caught by the wax will be tweezed during the cleanup process.

Does eyebrow waxing hurt?
Eyebrow waxing pain can differ from client to client. For the most part, eyebrow waxing does not hurt and is more of a discomfort than anything. Although, if you have sensitive skin, a low pain tolerance, or thick hair follicles, eyebrow waxing can sometimes be of higher discomfort. This is something that can be discussed and managed at your appointment with Danielle.

How long does eyebrow waxing last?
Eyebrow waxing results can last anywhere from 7 to 21 days. The length of time the results last will be based on your personal hair grow cycle. If your hair tends to grow faster, you may need to come back in sooner to have your brow re-waxed.

How long does eyebrow waxing take?
Eyebrow waxing typically takes around 15 to 30 minutes. This time frame includes the consultation time, mapping for reshaping if necessary, and the amount of hair being removed. If waxing is also being paired with a brow tint, this can make the appointment closer to the 30 minute mark.

How often can you get your eyebrows waxed?
You can get your eyebrows waxed as often as every two weeks if needed. Eyebrow waxing does not damage the hairs or skin, so it can be performed again as soon as two weeks. As long as the hairs are long enough for the wax to wrap them properly, there is no need to wait extended periods of time between eyebrow waxing.

How much does eyebrow waxing cost?
A brow wax with dhesthetics is $20 plus tax, with the option to add on tinting for an extra $5.

Does eyebrow waxing damage your skin?
Eyebrow waxing does not damage the skin when done by an experienced artist. An experienced eyebrow waxing artist has a good understanding of skin, contraindications of the service, and how to use wax properly to avoid damaging the skin when waxing.
